The Richard Shephard Award for Excellence in Writing

One award for an undergraduate who is going into his or her senior year, who has taken two creative writing classes, and who has demonstrated excellence in essays.

*To apply, students must submit the following: *

• A letter stating the student’s name, contact information and intention to apply for an award
• A sample essay

Criteria:

• must be entering into your senior year
• must have taken two or more creative writing courses
