The Margaret Halmy Prize

A prize to an undergraduate who is interested in the pursuit of creative or professional writing as a career and who is the first generation in his or her family to pursue a college degree.

To apply, submit the following:

• a personal narrative of 500-1250 words detailing eligibility, ambitions and goals
• provide the names of three City College faculty who can address the quality of your work.
