CWE Alumni Award
The CWE Alumni Student Award was created to honor student achievement, resilience, and community engagement. This award reflects the alumni’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of learners and leaders who demonstrate perseverance, purpose, and passion for making a difference.
Eligibility:
- Be currently enrolled as a matriculated student at CCNY/CWE.
- Have completed four semesters (2 years) of coursework at CWE.
- Must have reached sophomore status or higher.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Submit a completed application and essay by the stated deadline.
500 word Essay Prompt: Describe how your CWE educational journey has shaped your goals and how you plan to use your education to give back to your school and community.
Guidelines:
- Typed and double-spaced.
- Font: 12-point Times New Roman, with 1-inch margins.
Include your name and student ID in the header.
Your essay should:
- Include an original title
- Tell your story with honesty and clarity (without ChatGPT assistance).
- Show how your education connects to your goals, including life and career purpose.
- Reflect on how you plan to impact your community, your college and field of study.
