The Albert Ginsberg Scholarship in Economics
The scholarship will be awarded at the end of each academic year to a superior current freshman student intending to major in economics and going into his or her sophomore year.
Criteria:
- a grade point average of 3.5 or above,
- a major in economics,
- preference for an economics student interested in pursuing management or business, or who shows an
entrepreneurial bent, either in or out of school.
The recipient will be selected each year by the Ginsberg Scholarship Committee, consisting of:
- the dean of the division of social science
- the chair of the department of economics
- one or more representatives of the Ginsberg/Feshbach family
Once the student is selected, and provided that a GPA of 3.0 is maintained, the student will receive the
Ginsberg Scholarship for his or her junior and senior years, as well.
