The Irwin and Ruth Fleischner Scholarship Fund

The Irwin & Ruth Fleischner Scholarship Fund is for School of Education Secondary
English or Secondary Social Studies program students, for education-related expenses.

Criteria:

• Be enrolled in the CCNY School of Education, in either Social Studies Education
  or English Education.
• Have plans to teach in a New York City Public School upon graduation.
• Submit a personal statement (up to 500 words) that discusses the importance of
  Social Science or English Education and their goals as a teacher of social science or
  English in a NYC Public School.
