The G. Antonio Chavarria Scholarship Award
The G. Antonio Chavarria Scholarship Award is in honor of B. Arch graduate, G. Antonio Chavarria, to help a 5th-year B Arch student
complete their degree. There is no minimum GPA requirement. The stipend can be used for tuition coverage, as well as tuition plus expenses
G. Antonio Chavarria Scholarship Award Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a 5th-year B Arch student
- Student is of immigrant background
Applicants must submit the following:
- Their portfolio
- A short motivational essay to Spitzer School scholarship committee, stating why they need the funding to graduate.
*Tuition Plus *
Many CCNY students are in need of other support that goes beyond paying tuition fees to the college. A flexible spending policy with “tuition plus”
will allow our foundation to help with specific needs of each student. These needs are all related to educational expenses. In addition to tuition and
fees, funds are available to students to assist them with additional expenses in their pursuit of a degree, such as:
- Textbooks
- OMNY cards
- Equipment and supplies, such as laptops, calculators, and class supplies
- testing and application fees
- Relevant conference and travel fees
- Emergency supplemental income
