The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture

The entire Pledge shall be used only for “enhancements” at the School. Examples of enhancements include, but are not limited to: (a) scholarships and fellowships; (b) compensation enhancements above normal faculty compensation to attract world-class faculty to the School; © new equipment that the School would not normally have and which will enhance the reputation and visibility of the School; (d) special projects not within the School’s normal operating budget; (e) special awards or prizes recognizing outstanding achievement; or (f) special travel associated with an academic program. Except as expressly provided in the preceding sentence, none of the Pledge may be used for: (i) capital expenses or (ii) normal operating expenses or programs unless it is to supplement or expand an existing program.
