The Fund it Forward Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by an anonymous couple who are passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential. Grateful for those who helped them along the way, they created this scholarship to support CCNY students who are working hard to earn their degrees while balancing employment and challenging circumstances. The scholarship is open to full-time sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the Grove School of Engineering or Division of Science who work at least 20 hours per week and are in good academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria:

❖ Full-time Sophomore, Junior and/or Senior Students within either The Grove School of Engineering, or the Division of Science;
❖ Must be in good academic standing in their major, with a minimum average of B or above;
❖ Must be employed part-time or full-time (>20 hours per week), while simultaneously working on
their degree;
❖ Must be an in-state, commuter student, not registered as an international student;
❖ Must submit an essay of 500 words sharing how the scholarship can help the awardee in completing the degree and demonstrating a commitment towards helping others (essay should
narrate how the student might ‘pay it forward’ in the future’)
